The external unit is surface-mounted, but the flush box model 3554 is also included in the pack, to make the external unit flush-mounted. The privacy function means that the conversation cannot be overheard when more than one handset is connected to the system. The handset can also be desk mounted with the addition of the model 2642W/16.
